Congratulations, Dr. Gandhi!

Dr. Kanchi Gandhi, Senior Nomenclatural Registrar, was recently honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Botanical Survey of India (BSI), Government of India, for his distinguished service in the field of Plant Taxonomy and Nomenclature. Director of the BSI, Dr. A. A. Mao, presented the award during the inaugural session of the International Symposium on Plant Taxonomy, Ethnobotany and Botanic Gardens held in Kolkata, India earlier this month. Ms. Nameeta Prasad, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, and Dr. S.S. Dash, the organizing Secretary of the symposium, are also seen in the photos below. Congratulations, Kanchi!
