 Congratulations to Pfister Lab graduate student [Danny Haelewaters](http://pfistergroup.oeb.harvard.edu/people/danny-haelewaters) on his award of the [2017 Les Mehrhoff Botanical Research Fund](http://www.rhodora.org/awards/mehrhoff.html)!

 The fund was established by the [New England Botanical Club](http://www.rhodora.org/) in memory of renowned botanist and NEBC Herbarium Curator, Dr. Leslie J. Mehrhoff. Awards support botanical endeavors in field studies, herbarium, library, and archival research. Danny's project, "A survey of *Russula* species (Fungi, Basisiomycota, Agaricomycetes) at the Boston Harbor Islands National Park area, Massachusetts", was one of four projects funded with the award.
