     Este listado preliminar de especies de orquídeas colectadas en la carretera Yavita-Maroa, especialmente en los alrededores de Maroa, incluye la vegetación a la largo del Río Temi en los alrededores de Yavita y a lo largo del Río Guainía en los alrededores de Maroa. Se listan 56 géneros y 128 especies. Tres especies nuevas para la ciencia han sido descritas de nuestras colecciones realizadas a lo largo de la carretera: Catasetum maroaense G. Romero & C. Gómez, Catasetum yavitaense G. Romero & C. Gómez, y Pleurothallis sandaliorum G. Romero & Carnevali. Estamos seguros que la specie de Coryanthes por identificar va a ser una especie nueva. Al muestrear el bosque alto a lo largo de la carretera, que hasta ahora casí no hemos muestreado, predecimos que este listado va a aumentar a no menos de 60 géneros y 140 especies.

     The following checklist of orchid species collected along the Yavita-Maroa Road, especially in the vicinity of Maroa, includes the forest along the Temi River in the vicinity of Yavita and along the Guainía River in the vicinity of Maroa. Here we list 56 genera and 128 species. Three new species have been described from collections made along this road: Catasetum maroaense G. Romero & C. Gómez, Catasetum yavitaense G. Romero & C. Gómez, and Pleurothallis sandaliorum G. Romero & Carnevali. We are certain that the unidentified species of Coryanthes will turn out to be a new species. We also predict that, when the survey of the tall forest along the road, which so far we have hardly sampled, this checklist will reach no fewer than 60 genera and 140 species.
