Scope & Content:

Collection consist of eight portfolios of Allen's watercolors of fungi. There is also one box of notes describing various fungi (mostly Lactarius and Russulae), photographs of fungi, reprints about Russulae, and a letter from E.F. Harper.

 

Series Description:

The collection is broken down into two series.
Series I - Watercolors. This series consists of eight portfolios of watercolors of fungi done by Lizzie C. Allen.
Series II - Notes. This series contains the notes, keys, indexes, correspondence, and photographs on fungi.
