Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) - Ten major natural history museum libraries have joined to form the BHL Project. The group is digitizing the published literature of biodiversity held in their respective collections and making it available through a global biodiversity commons.

Botanicus- Botanicus is a freely accessible, Web-based encyclopedia of historic botanical literature from the Missouri Botanical Garden Library.

Cornell's Core Historical Literature on Agriculture (CHLA) - CHLA is an electronic collection of agricultural texts published between the early 19th century and the middle to late 20th century. Full-text materials cover agricultural economics, agricultural engineering, animal science, crops and their protection, food science, forestry, human nutrition, rural sociology, and soil science.

DigiZeitschriften- Deutsche Digitale Zeitschriftenarchiv - DigiZeitschriften is a research service that allows access to core German research journals via subscribing institutions.

Gallica - Gallica is the digital library of the Bibliotheque Nationale de France (BnF). Launched in 1997, it can be accessed from anywhere in the world over the Internet.

Google Book Search - Google has digitized thousands of books from partner libraries' collections.

Historical Orchid Literature - A compilation of links to historic literature on orchids.

Internet Archive - The Internet Archive is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, it provides free access to researchers, historians, scholars, and the general public.

Munchener DigitalisierungsZentrum/Bayerische StaatsBibliothek - The Munich Digitisation Centre is responsible for digitising the culutral heritage of the Bavarian State Library.

New York Botanical Garden - The collection features rare 19th century works on American trees by French botanists Andre and Francois-Andre Michaux. They reflect the early investigation of the flora of North America by botanists who were seeking new plants for commerce and horticulture.

Real Jardin Botanico, Madrid (CSIC) - The Royal Botanic Garden offers digital copies of its magnificent collection of antiquarian botanical books.

Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew - This is a portal to Kew's digitized material that is organized by subject.

Universitatsbibliothek Bielefeld - This is a collection of digitized books, journals, and autographs from the University of Bielefeld.
